Alyssa Brewton, a Sophomore at St. Mary’s Catholic School, has started competing in a new organization called Powerlifting America. On November 23, she competed at the Powerlifting America Louisiana State Meet.

 

Alyssa took 1st Place and has qualified for the 2025 Powerlifting America High School Nationals in April in Wisconsin!!!

 

Alyssa is ranked 5th in State of Louisiana and 12th in Nation by the new organization. 

 

Alyssa is Coached by T-Bird Smith and her mom Nikki Brewton. 

 

She went 7/9

Bench: 143.30 lbs

Deadlift: 303.13lbs
