Northwestern State University Middle Lab School will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 8 due to a heating issue in the facility, according to the Natchitoches Parish School Board (NPSB).
The closure was announced after Northwestern State University informed the school of the problem, which is beyond the school’s control. In a statement, the NPSB emphasized that the decision to cancel classes was made in the interest of the safety and comfort of students and staff.
“We sincerely apologize for the late notice and appreciate your understanding,” NPSB stated.
