Four Heralds serve King, Queen at St. Denis Art League’s Spring Festival Court

Four young ladies served as Heralds to the King and Queen of the 57th annual ball of the Spring Festival Court presentation by the St. Denis Art League.

Serving as Heralds to King Sidney Bunyan Evans III are Miss Dylan Brooke Perot and Miss Avery Vivienne Williams.

Miss Dylan Brooke Perot is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Clinton Perot III. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ewing Cross and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Clinton Perot, Jr. Dylan’s hobbies include volleyball, golf, church activities, and playing with her dog, Josie. She is a fourth grader at the NSU Elementary Lab School. Her sister, Campbell Cross Morrow, served as an Usher in 2023 and will be presented as a Lady of the Court this year.

Miss Avery Vivienne Williams is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bray Williams. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anthony Babineaux, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Payne Williams, Sr. Avery is a 5th grader at the NSU Elementary Lab School where she plays volleyball, and is on the straight A Honor Roll. She loves music, singing, and plays the bass. She is involved in 4-H, K-Kids, art, painting and crafts. Her great-grandfather, the late Honorable Richard Blanchard Williams, Sr., reigned as the first King of the Spring Festival Ball. Her brother, Daniel Rees Williams, is a Gentleman of the Court and her sister, Adele, will serve as an Usher this year.

Serving as Heralds to Queen Anderson Paige Kelly are Miss Lucy Ann Dupre’ and Miss Vivian Ann Philen.

Miss Lucy Ann Dupre’ is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henry Dupre’. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Joseph Dupre’, the late Mrs. Johnette Ann LaHaye Dupre’, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Norman Kaufman. Lucy is a fourth grader at the NSU Elementary Lab School where she is a member of 4-H. Her hobbies include softball, volleyball, swimming, singing, and going to the camp with her Daddy. Her mother, the former Anna Kaufman, was presented as a Lady of the Court in 1997. Her sister, Erin Elizabeth, served as a Herald in 2022.

Miss Vivian Ann Philan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Austin Philen Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Gary Neal Smith and the late Mrs. Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. James Austin Philen. Vivian is in the fourth grade and attends St. Mary’s Elementary School, where she received the Social Studies Award. Her hobbies include volleyball, tennis, and art. Her sister, Georgia Kate, served as an Usher in 2023 and will be presented as a Lady of the Court this year.
