Meet Buckie!
A beautiful 6-year-old, who appears to be a chocolate Lab mix, with the most beautiful cocoa-colored coat. Buckie is pure sunshine, always friendly and affectionate, with a tail that never stops wagging. Buckie adores other dogs and truly believes every new friend is her favorite.
Behind her joyful spirit is a story of incredible resilience. Buckie was the sole survivor of a devastating act of cruelty and was found badly injured in a rural area. Thanks to the compassion of a Fauna volunteer and dedicated medical care, she has made a remarkable recovery. Her slight head tilt is the only remnant of her injury and a reminder of just how far she has come.
A family to love and a home of her own are the only things on Buckie’s Christmas list. She is more than ready to start a new life filled with all of the love, comfort, and kindness she deserves.
