The Parish Council held a special called meeting on Jan. 16 to consider a single agenda item related to infrastructure work on Oscar Wells Road.
During the meeting, council members approved authorizing the Parish President to sign all necessary paperwork to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) with Apex Oil and Gas, LLC. The agreement allows work to move forward on Oscar Wells Road in coordination with the company.
The motion was introduced, seconded, and approved following a brief discussion. The item passed by a unanimous vote of council members present.
With the approval, the Parish President is now authorized to execute the agreement and any related documentation required to proceed with the project.
