Delivery driver airlifted following truck accident in Robeline

A delivery driver was airlifted for medical treatment following an accident near the Robeline ball park after a delivery truck malfunctioned and rolled away from a fuel station.

According to reports, the driver had stopped for fuel at Shop-A-Lott #2 when the truck began to move while the driver was outside the vehicle. The driver was struck during the incident and sustained injuries.

The truck continued rolling across Highway 6 before coming to a stop in the front yard of the Old Robeline Methodist Church, where it became lodged. Officials reported minimal property damage.

Emergency responders, including the Robeline Police Department, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Natchitoches EMS, and Natchitoches Fire District #7, assisted at the scene with medical care, transportation, and traffic control. Cedars Towing removed the vehicle.

The condition of the driver has not been released. Community members have expressed support and well wishes for the driver’s recovery.
