Dr. Douglas Bakenhus, NSU Orchestra Director and Bassoon Professor, performed with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra Saturday, May 5 at the LSUS Student Union theater. The performance was part of the orchestra’s Willis-Knighton Masterworks series “Woodwinds in 20th Century France”. Dr. Bakenhus performed Camille Saint-Saens’ Sonata for Bassoon and Piano Op 168.
