Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Natchitoches Fire District #5, La. DOTD, and SWEPCO responded to a vehicle fire on
La. Hwy 1 just south of Cypress, La. on Friday evening at approximately 6:01pm.

The 1998 Peterbilt semi-truck owned by a local trucking company received heavy damage.

There were no reported injuries.

SWEPCO responded to assess power lines near the scene.    AT&T was also notified.

Deputies cleared the scene at 7:25pm.
