Saturday, Oct. 7 was a busy day for the Gator Nation at Lakeview. Everything from home made crafts and food to a bouncy house was on hand to entertain Gator fans of every age. The Trade Days is an innovative fundraiser for Lakeview Sports teams that features vendors and food from throughout the community. Gator fans also had an opportunity to test their pitching skills and wreak watery revenge on their “favorite” coach or even Principal Hymes in the dunking booth. The Lakeview Honor Society rounded out the day with a car wash.

The men and women of the Gator Basketball Teams showed they are not only a force to be reckoned with on the hardboards, but are coaches in their own right. Over 30 campers in grades pre-K to 8th, attended the Gators Basketball Camp which concluded Saturday, Oct. 7. The Gator players taught the campers basketball skills under the supervision of Coaches Dewakeie Fuller and Akilah Issac. The campers learned new skills, improved existing ones and had a great time doing it.
