The Louie Bernard for Senate Campaign got off to a great start Thursday night at the Natchitoches Events Center. Over 500 people representing all six parishes of the 31st Louisiana Senatorial District were in attendance. The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Department Honor Guard presented the colors and Mrs. Issac sang the National Anthem. Current District 31 State Senator Gerald Long personally endorsed Louie prior to the featured speaker ,Humorist Clyde Ray Webber. The Clerk of Court of Concordia Parish gave an enjoyable presentation before introducing his long time friend, Louie Bernard. Mr Bernard gave a brief personal history and laid out an overview of his campaign for his run for the 31st District Senate seat.
Is he a Democrat, Republican, or Independent ?
Won’t say I guess but I think he is a Democrat by registration.
