On Wednesday, Aug. 4, the Department of Public Works will reopen the portion of Collins Road that has been closed for repair work. We are asking residents of Collins Road to assist us in keeping the road open by reporting to the Sheriff’s Office any persons who are seen operating their vehicles in a way that causes damage to Collins Road. Examples include mud riding and driving over-sized vehicles. The number to the Sheriff’s Office is 318.352.6432.
