The Agriculture II and Welding classes at Lakeview Jr./Sr. High School toured Alliance in Natchitoches to celebrate manufacturing month. Students learned about the history of the Alliance, the process of air compressors, and the skills needed to be hired at Alliance. They were also given a tour of the plant while wearing the proper personal protective equipment provided by Alliance. This trip served as a connection between the safety and job skills taught in agriculture classes and applied them in a career setting. A big thanks to Craig Caskey and the employees at Alliance for this opportunity!
