The Boys to Men Club is back this school year for another successful year of mentorship and community involvement!
These young men are back in full effect and ready to serve the community. Last week was Boys to Men Week of Service that included a full week of community service. The week consisted of cleaning up the cafeteria after each lunch shift, assisting the custodians, community service at M.R. Weaver Elementary, distribution of school supplies to needy students, and concluding with a Dress for Success day.

The Boys to Men Club has been in operation since the Fall of 2018. Mr. Thomas leds these young men in pertinent areas such as professional dress attire, mannerism, ideal behavior, academic proficiency, and service, just to name a few.
Mr. Thomas said “COVID-19 took it’s toll on community involvement with us, being that we were limited to the places in which we could attend. The nursing home, for example, is one of our main community service exhibits that we serve. We had to stop going completely to protect the health of the residents, but thank God we made it through all of that.”
The Boys to Men Club is a service group for male students at NJH. For more information on the club, please contact club director Jermaine Thomas at jermaine.thomas@npsb.la.
