NPTCC Announces School Spirit Week

Natchitoches Parish Technical and Career Center’s Student Council will sponsor Warhawk Spirit Week November 14th through the 18th. This week, we will have themed days, chosen by the student body, and culminated by a PBIS Carnival celebrating students with good behavior. Participation in the events for that week must submit to the following parameters:

Monday – Character/Celebrity Day

Students will dress up as their favorite character or celebrity. Students are only allowed to use props that help accentuate their costumes, but does not promote violence.

Tuesday – Pajama Day

Participants are allowed to wear pajamas to school. Tight or revealing clothing is prohibited.

Wednesday – Twin Day

Pairs of students are allowed to dress alike. All attire must be appropriate for the school environment.

Thursday – Throwback Day

Students can wear retro style apparel appropriate for school.

Friday – Hobo Day

Baggy, or “hobo” style clothes are to be worn on Friday. No soiled, smelly, or clothes depicting violence or drug use will allowed.

Friday’s PBIS Carnival is free to all students without referrals for the month of October. NPTCC will sell concessions during the event.  Parents with questions may contact Mr. Bobby Benjamin, Principal, at (318)357-9410.
