Need some stocking stuffers or want to get a good reading list going for when you are home for the holidays? The Friends of the Natchitoches Parish Library (FoNPL) has just what you need, and it is all for a good cause and at excellent prices. The FoNPL’s multi-week Mini Book Sale is back, and everything is just 50¢!

The sale will begin Saturday, Dec. 17, and run through Saturday, Jan. 7 in the Natchitoches Parish Library’s (NPL) 3rd-floor meeting room, during normal business hours. You are sure to find something special when you stop by the sale to look through the hundreds of books, audiobooks, and movies that have been donated. And you will want to revisit regularly as the selection changes daily as shelves are replenished with new items. No credit or debit card payments are possible, and change cannot be made by library staff. Check out the Facebook Event for the sale on the NPL’s page for a full listing of the dates and times!

The FoNPL is a non-profit organization that encourages public interest and support of the NPL. Funds raised by the FoNPL are used to purchase special equipment and sponsor special programming and classes. The FONPL has previously helped sponsor such programs as the NPL’s monthly adult fitness series (which has included line dancing, meditation, Zumba, and a walking club), children’s yoga, the teen anime club, and the annual summer reading program, among others.
