Parish-wide training brought together Natchitoches Parish Fire Districts 1, 4, 5 and 6 for a review of pump operations on Jan. 10.

 

Districts 1, 4 and 6 provided attendees with in-depth training on the operation of their trucks. With mutual aid agreements across the parish, it is vital for members of all districts to be familiar with and know how to operate apparatus unique to each district. In addition to pump operations for each truck, equipment location and special features were highlighted providing members with a working knowledge of all aspects of the apparatus.
