The Natchitoches Parish Technical and Career Center is proud to announce that Johnny Thai, a student in his first year at NPTCC, achieved the first Advanced score in the school’s history on the LEAP 2025 testing.
Thai chose to transfer to the NPTCC campus in order to graduate on time.
According to Principal Bobby Benjamin, Thai is a quiet young man, and an excellent student, who plans on entering the Air Force after high school.
The LEAP 2025 exam is given every year to measure student growth. Students fall in the ranges of unsatisfactory, approaching basic, basic, mastery, and advanced, depending on the students raw score. Students are tested in math, science, English, and history.
