Tribal Power powerlifting team heading to Nationals

Fourteen of the Tribal Power team members from Natchitoches Central High School will travel to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in the USAPL High School Nationals competition March 31-April 3. Tribal Power is a member of USAPL and was started by Coach John Daugherty.

The team is comprised of NCHS students and is headed by Coach Jon Paul Henderson. The lifters headed to Nationals are Dinah Ellzey, Taylor Eubanks, Ethan Hudson, Natalie Hyde, Hayden Jackson, Colby Jett, Baylee Johnson, Lincoln Johnson, JeRon Larry, Nathan Lovemore, Noah Martinez, Jeff Noel, Makenzie Rachal, and Daigan Scarbrough. The team has worked very hard throughout the year to earn their qualifying totals and is very excited to have this opportunity.

There are some upcoming fundraising opportunities the team would like to make everyone aware of. Raising Cane’s has a fundraising event on March 9 from 4-8 pm. When you order at Raising Cane’s during this time and mention the code word “Tribal Power Powerlifting,” 15% of the sales will be donated to the team!

The powerlifters are also selling $1 raffle tickets for a chance to win a $100 scratch-off lottery ticket wreath. You can purchase those tickets from any lifter.

There are also corporate donation opportunities available. If anyone would like to help Tribal Power travel to South Carolina, contact Dawn Eubanks at 318-730-3739.
