Maddie Robinson threw another one-hit shutout to lead the Natchitoches Central softball team past visiting Captain Shreve 11-0 on Thursday.
Natchitoches Central rose to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in District 1-5A. Shreve fell to 6-2 overall.
The Lady Chief got on the board in the first inning, when Lila Robertson grounded out, scoring one run.
The only Captain Shreve hit was a double by Nora Falcon in the third inning.
Robinson was dominant in the circle as usual, going six innings, striking out 11 and walking one.
NCHS slapped out 13 hits, including a home run by Skylar Braxton in the sixth inning.
Robertson went 3-for-4 while Braxton, Mallory LaCour, Robinson, and Aubrey Houghtby also collected multiple hits for the Lady Chiefs.
The Lady Chiefs will host Buckeye on Monday with a junior varsity game at 4 and the varsity teams squaring off at 5:30.
