City Council holds brief meeting, declares March as Women’s History Month

The Natchitoches City Council began its brief meeting on March 13 by declaring the month of March as Women’s History Month. Council Woman-at Large Betty Sawyer Smith selected community member Elnora Robertson to accept the proclamation. Elnora was recently recognized by the Concerned Citizens Association of Natchitoches. She is a civil rights activist and the first black female in Natchitoches to sign the federal lawsuit to desegregate Natchitoches Parish schools.

Adopt The Natchitoches Parish Hazard Mitigation Plan 2023

Approve And Accept The Contract For Exemption Of Ad Valorem Taxes (Advance Notification #20210507) For Alliance Compressors, LLC, And Authorizing The Mayor Of The City Of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Ronnie Williams, Jr., To Draft And Execute A Letter, Or Any Other Instrument Necessary, To Convey The Acceptance And Approval Of The City Of Natchitoches To The Exemption.
