Spring Court Heralds presented at Ball

Serving as Heralds to King Dustin Cross for the St. Denis Art League Spring Festival 55th Presentation and Ball on April 29 were Miss Hadley Emerson Mayeaux and Miss Jolie Kathern Streete.  Miss Elise Margaret Armstrong and Miss Brenda Elyse Fontenot are Heralds to Queen Caroline Godfrey.

Hadley Emerson Mayeaux is a 4th grader at St. Mary’s School. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Ross Mayeaux. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John William Worsham, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Dale Troutman, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Albert Mayeaux. She is a member of the Showstopper competition team at Renee’s Dance Studio. She attends Westside Kids and is on the A/B honor roll at St. Mary’s School. Her father was presented as a Gentleman of the Court in 2003.

Jolie Kathern Streete is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Barton Streete, Sr. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nolton William Causey Jr., Mrs. Stephen Ronald Streete, the late Mr. Streete, Mrs. William Brent Lumpkin, and the late Mr. Lumpkin. She is a 3rd grader at NSU Elementary Lab School. She enjoys gymnastics, art, and piano. Her mother, the former Lisa Causey, was the Spring Court Queen in 1994. Her grandfather, Mr. Nolton Causey reigned as King in 1999.

Elise Margaret Armstrong is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brant Armstrong. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Bison, and Mr. and Mrs. David Joel Armstrong. She was presented as a Princess at the 2023 Krewe of St. Denis Ball. She enjoys dancing and swimming, and she plays soccer and softball. She is a 3rd grader at NSU Elementary Lab. Her two sisters, Ainsley Claire and Camille Renee, also served as heralds in 2015 and 2017.

Brenda Elyse Fontenot is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Fontenot. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Griffin Allen Taylor, Jr. and the late Mrs. Taylor, Dr. Charles Edward Fontenot, Sr. and the late Mrs. Fontenot. Brenda has attended dance classes in tap, jazz, and ballet for 6 years. She is a member of 4-H, BETA, and on the A honor roll. She enjoys, art, swimming and hunting. Her mother, the former Gwendolyn Taylor was presented as a Lady of the Court in 1996. Brenda is a 4th grader at the NSU Lab School.
