Morning Star Baptist Church was recently awarded the KLB beautification grant in the amount of $3,250, which is a reimbursement grant.  The funds will be used to purchase welcome signs, poles, plants, pavers, mulch, soil and flowers.  This project will enhance the beauty of public spaces, promote community pride, and help reduce litter. 

The purpose of the Keep Louisiana Beautiful Beautification Grant is to create beautiful, well Maintained gardens and plantings to community pride and improve the appearance of communities throughout Louisiana.
