
Celebrate Louisiana’s Folk Fiddling during the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum’s “Fiddlin’ with the Finest” event on Saturday, June 10 from 2-3:15 pm as the museum celebrates the continuing legacy of Louisiana folk fiddling. The program will include a discussion with three past Louisiana State Fiddle Champions on the importance of this tradition and will include live music. The performance of various regional fiddle styles with demonstrations of fiddle stick playing and twin fiddling will be followed by a Q&A session on participating in fiddle competitions.
Fiddlers of all skill levels are invited to bring their instruments for a jam session with some of Louisiana’s finest fiddlers! Everyone young and old is invited to this event!
