St. Mary’s Catholic School Varsity Cheer Squad attended the Universal Cheer Association Camp at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas. The team received the following awards:

6 Pin-It-Forward Leadership Awards: Lainey Bennett, Gabby Godfrey, Ella Hardee, Sophia Hogg, Georgia Kate Philen and Destanee Stewart.
In addition, five team members were named UCA All American Cheerleaders. The cheerleaders that receive this honor are invited to perform at special events across the country. Seniors receiving this honor were Molly Blackmon, Gabby Godfrey, and Sophia Hogg. Juniors awarded this designation were Georgia Kate Philen and Destanee Stewart.
Captains for the 2023-24 school year are seniors Gabby Godfrey and Sophia Hogg. The team is coached by Barbara Jackson, Charlie Gandy and Ashley Methvin.
