The City of Natchitoches Fire Department received a dispatch from Natchitoches Police Department on Aug. 8 around 3:48 pm reporting a structure fire at 116 South Bend Drive. Engines 1 and 2, Rescue 1, Truck 1, C1, C2, and C4 were dispatched to the scene.
Engine 2 arrived on scene to find a single wide mobile home, reported to be vacant, fully involved with fire.
Pre-connected hose line were pulled and exposures protected while a water source was established at the nearest fire hydrant. The fire was extinguished and an investigation began. There were no reported injuries and the fire is under investigation at this time.
