Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputy Michelle Sims, Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #1 and the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry fought a grass/woods fire in the 3500 block of Marco Road in Marco on Aug. 9, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriffs Office.

 

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. There were no injuries.

 

A state and parish-wide burn ban remains in effect.
