The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches held its weekly meeting on Aug. 10 where Club President Craig George gave updates on club news and upcoming events. George presented member Heather Martin with the Kiwanian of the Month recognition for Martin’s work with coordinating the Terrific Kids program with our Natchitoches Parish schools.

 

George, along with past Kiwanis International president Nettles Brown and club secretary Craig Caskey, attended the Louisiana – Mississippi – West Tennessee district convention in Lafayette this past weekend.  George announced the district’s goals for the new Kiwanis year such as each club’s membership needs to target 10% growth.  Brown and Caskey also spoke on their takeaways from the district convention.
