District Attorney Billy Joe Harrington announced on Aug. 14 that a grand jury has returned true bill indictments against two individuals for 2nd degree murder in separate cases.
Jacobi Forte, 21 of Mansfield, was indicted for 2nd degree murder. The indictment related to a March homicide that occurred at the Willa Point Apartments in Powhatan.
In a separate case, Johnathan Robinson, 27 of Natchitoches, was indicted for 2nd degree murder. The indictment relates to a December 2022 homicide at Hidden Hills Trailer Park.
The defendants will be arraigned on the charges at an upcoming court date.
