pikappNSU- Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity has appointed Travis Jimenez, a member of the Beta Omicron Chapter at Northwestern State University, to its 2023-2024 Council of Archons.
Selected for his service to his chapter and demonstrated leadership abilities and dedication, Jimenez joins 11 other student members on the advisory panel for the fraternity’s National Council and professional staff. The panel consists of current or former archons who meet monthly by teleconference.
A senior Hospitality Management and Tourism major from Belcher, Jimenez is very involved on campus at NSU. Prior to his election as Beta Omicron’s archon, he prepared the chapter’s new members as warden. He is serving in his third year as a Freshman Connector and the student coordinator for the program, part of the Demon Mentor Network, and serves with the HMT ambassadors. He previously served as a board member of the NSU Food Pantry, and was involved with President’s Leadership Program and the NSU ROTC.
Jimenez becomes the third Beta Omicron Chapter member named to the council.
