With the storm damage between Campti and Clarence that occurred on Aug. 27, the Campti Cut-Off is expected to be closed throughout the night and tomorrow morning due the downed power lines.
A storm with high wind and rain that passed in the area of US 71 and Hwy. 486 between Campti and Clarence has left power lines down and caused structural damage to Creations Event Center on the Campti Cutoff, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriffs Office.
Hwy. 486 is closed due to the down lines. Deputies removed debris from US 71 to make it passable.
If you are traveling, drive carefully pay attention to the road and avoid distractions.
