I, Ricky Sanders, am seeking the office of Natchitoches Parish Council for District 5. I have been a life long resident of Natchitoches Parish. I was born and raised in Provencal, then later moved to Cloutierville. I worked for Union Pacific Railroad building and maintaining bridges. I started as a helper and worked my way up to supervisor.
I put in 38.5 years with the company before retiring in November of 2022. I am currently Chairman of the Board For Natchitoches Parish Fire District 1. I’m also a volunteer firefighter and I’m on the Cloutierville Mardi Gras committee. I am all about community and trying to help people where I can.
I cannot promise to fix every road in the district but I promise I’ll give you 100 percent of my time trying. If you would like to give me a chance to help please vote for me, # 63 on October 14. Early voting begins on September 30 and ends on October 7.
