Cane River Chapter, DAR shows gratitude for Natchitoches Law Enforcement

Members of the Cane River Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), recognized Patriot Day on Sept. 11 by expressing their gratitude and delivering baked goods to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Natchitoches Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness for their hard work, commitment to duty and selfless service. Cane River Chapter members thank these law enforcement officials for dedicating their lives to protect the public day in and day out to ensure everyone’s safety and preserve justice, something no Cane River Chapter member will ever take for granted. Since September 11, 2001, hundreds of thousands of American troops, law enforcement agencies and first responders remain unwavering for the country’s democracy.
