Natchitoches Parish Fire District 6 would like to remind the public that the state-wide burn ban remains in effect. Any outdoor burning is still prohibited until further notice.
NPFD6 responded to Vienna Road after reports of smoke in the area on Sept. 13 around 6:30 pm. Members located the source and extinguished the fire. Conditions are still very dry and fire danger is extreme.
