The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches opened on Thursday, September 14th where club president Craig George gave updates on upcoming annual banquet as well as the October 7th 5K Color Run and Pancake Festival. George presented newest member, Brittany Barton with the Kiwanian of the Month certificate for her efforts and immediately jumping in to help out. Club secretary Craig Caskey led the new member induction ceremony for Maggie Henley.

George introduced Morgan LaCaze, Executive Director of the Women’s Resource Center. LaCaze gave a brief introduction on the services of the Women’s Resource Center as well as updating the members on the upcoming Celebration of Life Gala.
