Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #1 and the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry with bulldozers responded to the scene of a brush/woods fire on Sept. 21 at 2:15 pm in the 200 block of Litton Nugent Road in Marco.

 

Deputies and NPFD #1 believe the fire was caused by a down power line in the area. The fire was contained at 4:17 according to units on scene.
