Early Voting Begins this Saturday

Early voting begins this Saturday, September 30th, and runs through October 7th (excluding Sunday, October 1st)!  Voting is the loudest and most important voice we all have in our community.  Please do not miss this opportunity to be heard.  Our local elections are incredibly important to the future of Natchitoches Parish.

As a candidate for re-election to the office of Natchitoches Parish President, I believe it is important for you to know some things that matter a great deal to me:

  1. I serve because I care. I care about you, the residents of Natchitoches Parish.  You, your family, your heritage, your culture, your future all matter to me, and weigh heavily in every decision I make.

  2. It is well known that the problems of Natchitoches Parish are older than most of us living in the Parish. But that doesn’t scare me, and I know it doesn’t scare you.  We may not always agree on how to solve every problem, but we are all committed to solving those problems.

  3. I don’t like taxes any more than you do. That’s why I am always looking for other funding sources (more than $20 million so far) from partners like the Federal and State governments, private entities, grants, etc… to help improve our parish.   It is also why I am so focused on working to make Natchitoches Parish more attractive to new businesses (and expanding businesses).

  4. Just the facts, and results matter. My administration balanced every budget, never spent more than we had, has consistently had clean audits, made your parish government more transparent than previous administrations, performed serious leadership during tough times (hurricanes, COVID, Ice Storms and drought).  And despite the increased cost of everything related to road work, this administration has covered more ground with less personnel and equipment than previous administrations.  We are stretched thinner than ever, yet we are committed to getting the most out of every penny spent on our ailing road and drainage systems.

  5. YOUR VOTE MATTERS!
