Westside Baptist Students did an awesome job of putting together 650 shoeboxes to be packed to send to third world countries around the world. The church will pack the shoeboxes during a packing party on October 15 with toys, school supplies, a WOW item, stuff animals, clothes, shoes, and toiletries.
Operation Christmas Child is a ministry through Samaritans Purse and has been organized since 1993. For many children this is their FIRST gift to ever receive and an opportunity to attend school for the first time.
Each child hears the gospel, receives a booklet of “The Greatest Gift” in their language and is invited to attend a 13 lesson class.
He said “Go into all the world and to Preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15.
