GLAMM (Gator Ladies Are Making Moves) held its second after school class on Oct. 2. Members learned about Breast Cancer awareness in honor of Breast cancer awareness month. The young ladies also planned fundraising events to hold this month to help raise money for breast cancer research. 

 

GLAMM members were fed a homemade lasagna dinner while participating in this informative class. 

 

Goff, the organization’s sponsor, raffled an Amazon gift card for any senior members who have already submitted a college application. Ariel Joseph was pulled during the class as the winner of this award. 

 

GLAMM is currently seeking individuals to come teach the young ladies about various topics such as hair, makeup, fashion, money management, entrepreneurship and more. Anyone who is interested in donating time and/or resources can contact Mrs Chanda Goff (Chanda.goff@npsb.la) at Lakeview Junior Senior High school.
