It was all blue skies and sunshine on Oct. 1 as the gentlemen and friends of the Krewe of Excellence Natchitoches gathered to celebrate King Excellence IX Dr. Oghale Elaye. Hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Oghale Elaye at the 18-hole “Demon Hills” course at the Northwestern Hills Golf Course facility in Natchitoches, the beautiful course is located on rolling hills and includes many water hazards, making each round of golf a challenging experience. The inaugural “Royal Rascals” event is to become an annual event hosted by the Krewe to celebrate each newly crowned King Excellence and his peers from across the Mardi Gras family.
In the clubhouse, they welcomed members and guests from all over the state to enjoy friendly competition, fellowship over tasty fare and vie for some awesome prizes for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishers. The Krewe and its member extend their sincere thanks to everyone who participated and made the day a resounding success!
