The Louisiana 4-H State Forestry contest was recently held at Indian Creek Recreation Park. Participants competed in events ranging from tree and leaf identification to tree measurements and more.
Congratulations to Nachitoches Parish for winning 1st place. Team members will represent Louisiana at the national contest. Other teams placing were 2nd place- Winn Parish-A, 3rd Place-Allen Parish, 4th place-Beauregard Parish, 5th Place- Winn Parish-B.
