The Natchitoches Police Department met at the Council Chambers last week to announce promotions and commendations.

 

Below is the list of promotions and commendations:

• Diquan Johnson was promoted to Police Communications Officer Supervisor

• Allen Holmes was promoted to Patrolman First Class

• Jaydan Perkins was promoted to Patrolman First Class

• Jonathan Severance was promoted to Patrolman First Class

• Justin Hall was promoted to Patrolman First Class

• Derienne Robinson was promoted to Patrolman First Class

• Joshua Wolf was promoted to Patrolman First Class

• Shermaria Lewis was promoted to Patrolman First Class

• Corporal John Greely was awarded with the Life Saving Award

 

Corporal John Greely was awarded the Life Saving Award for rendering aid to a toddler chocking while waiting on paramedics to arrive. The Life Saving Award is given to an officer who is credited with taking physical action that results in a life being saved from certain death.
