The public is invited to join St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for its annual Mini Fair on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 4-5 at the church grounds, located at 423 Hwy. 495 in Cloutierville.
The weekend of activities begins on Saturday with a Mass at 4 pm and a Blessing of the Graves immediately following. The Mini Fair starts after Mass on the grounds of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Hall. Enjoy gumbo, meat pies, tamales, hamburgers, The Sweet Shop, prize bingo, kids’ games, and money and basket raffles.
Lunch will start being served on Sunday at 11 am. The menu includes fried turkey dinners with all the fixings, gumbo, meat pies, tamales, hamburgers, and treats from The Sweet Shop. Prize bingo and kids’ games start at 12 pm and raffle drawings will be announced at 4 pm.
