State Senator Louie Bernard thanked his Legislative Assistant Connie Melder for her exceptional work for his office and introduced her as the Vice President of Publicity for the Association for the Preservation of Historic Natchitoches (APHN) along with the APHN Vice President of Property Toni Stroud. Melder and Stroud discussed the funding for Help Preserve Melrose and would like to encourage all who are interested to join the APHN organization.
