Lunchtime Lagniappe:  A History of Movies Filmed in Natchitoches

Join the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum as Payne Williams presents a brief history of several movies filmed in Natchitoches on Friday, Oct. 27 from 12:15-12:45 pm.  The movies discussed will include “The Horse Soldiers” with John Wayne filmed in 1959, “Screams of a Winter Night” filmed in 1979, and “The Man on the Moon” with a young Reese Witherspoon filmed in 1991. This event is free and open to the public. Visitors are welcome to bring their lunch and eat during the presentation.
