The Natchitoches downtown riverbank was packed from end to end with families celebrating the 2023 Pumpkin Glow on Thursday, Oct 26. The popular family friendly event is still going strong in its 11th year and has become an integral part of Fall in Natchitoches. The stage area featured over 50 decorated pumpkins from local contestants vying for top honors.
Superbly athletic performers from local dance studios kicked off the evening’s program, showing off their moves to the crowd in a variety of routines. A combined group of NCHS cheerleaders, Chiefettes and Maroon Line members also performed as did the young scholars of the Weaver Elites. The grace, strength and athleticism displayed by the youngsters was simply amazing to see.
The young men and women of Natchitoches Parish are superb ambassadors for our area!
