Provencal Mayor Dan Gongre, and Fall Fest Queen Emily Miller would like to invite everyone to the Provencal Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 11. Since this years festival falls on Veterans Day, organizers are dedicating the festival to hometown heroes, local veterans. Veterans will serve as Grand Marshall of the parade which will run at 2 pm. Other festivities include a children’s parade with decorated bicycles and strollers, a scavenger hunt, a pie eating contest, veteran’s luncheon, queen’s tea, dance and cheer performances, Bingo, and lots of food and craft vendors.
Mayor Gongre is a Navy veteran himself having served duty stations in Virginia, Millington, Tennessee, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Make plans to attend the festival this year for some great family fun. For more information contact Provencal Community Developers; Danny and Tammy Graves, Kaycee Powell, Brenda McCain, or Carla Salard.
