The Village of Robeline Council was informed by Mayor Gordon O’Con at the monthly meeting on Oct. 19 that the village had qualified for a public entity energy efficiency grant. The grant will come from the Louisiana Public Service Commission. It will cover four new energy efficient LED lights in the village park. With time falling back this weekend I know many Robeline residents will appreciate the new lighting when the project is complete.

The Provencal Fall Festival is right around the corner on Nov. 11. The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. with a children’s parade, with the Festival Parade at 2 p.m. The Grand Marshalls for the parade will be local Veterans.
