“Louisiana Seafood and Music” is the theme for a seafood awareness and fundraising event that will be held by the Krewe of Excellence-Mardi Gras krewe as result of applying for the Louisiana Seafood Promotional and Marketing Community Outreach grant for non-profit organizations

 

The seafood experience, which will feature catfish and shrimp, will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall, located at 400 St. Denis Street. An in-out activity, the setting will include recorded music. The association of music for this year’s event is as a result of the krewe’s 2024 season theme “Krewe of Excellence at the Grammys.” Detailed food platters are $15 per platter and a drink.
