So far during Operation Christmas Child’s National Collection Week, November 13-20, the first trailer at First Baptist Church on Second Street was loaded with 350 cartons with 15 shoeboxes in each with the help of Theta Chi Fraternity. These cartons were packed with shoeboxes from groups, schools, individuals and churches from Natchitoches Parish.  They will be shipped to children in over 150 countries who have never received a gift and they will hear the Gospel many for the first time.  This is a ministry of Operation Christmas Child with  Samaritans Purse.

Shoeboxes will be accepted at First Baptist Church, located at 508 2nd Street in Natchitoches on the following days:

Fri, Nov. 17: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sat, Nov. 18: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sun, Nov. 19: 1 :00 PM – 4:00 PM
