The City of Natchitoches announces that Atmos Energy is wrapping up their underground utility work in the Anita Street/Salim Street area,
and is continuing their ongoing work to upgrade the natural gas distribution and delivery system in the following parts of West Natchitoches:
- Dixie Street, including Anita, Grayson, and Pavie Streets
- Dorothy Street, including Hope, Hill, and Koonce Streets
The planned work includes excavations within City streets and sidewalks, as well as in adjacent earthen slope and roadside ditch areas.
At this time, there is no projected completion date for this work.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution when traveling in these areas and to obey all advance warning signs and flagger instructions.
